As I sit here getting our office area in some sort of condition that will be workable and neat, I am reminded of the Lord's hand reaching down and putting my life in a workable condition for His work and to bring order in my life. Well, that's what redemption is all about...........restoration...........That's what Christmas is all about.....God coming into the world as a child to offer Himself for the salvation of all that will receive Him.

How about you? Have you received the greatest gift of all.........Jesus, the Son of God? If not, He stands ready to be received by you at this very moment.......

Thoughts

I've just received some great news from friends in Cambodia. They are working with the street kid's shelter and with the safe home for former sex trade workers. What a Blessing that they are there to be Christ to them.

Last night at our regular visit to the jail on Wed evenings, we saw some men respond to the Gospel in a very sweet and moving way. It is always a joy for me to visit those that in prison. I can still remember receiving the Grace of God when I began in the prison ministy through Kairos (for more info on Kairos check out the links section).

A friend of mine some years ago put an interesting definition for the mission field. The Mission Field is Today. It doesn't matter where you go. What matters is that you understand that God has a purpose for your life and you are to use it for His glory and for the extension of His Kingdom.

Have a Blessed Advent as you prepare for the coming of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Getting Started

I've started this to help people stay in touch with the on goings of what we are doing through our Win-gs Ministry and with SAMS (South American Missionary Society). Blessings to all, Fr. Joe
